The Warburton Tram Fowler is a 0-4-2T locomotive built by John Fowler & Co., Leeds (builder's number 15989 of 1923) and originally used by H. Hermon & Sons on the Warburton Steam Tramway, Victoria.  From 1934 onwards it was stored out of use at Lal Lal.  In 1940 it became No.6 at Mt. Morgan Mines Ltd., Queensland, where it was out of use by 1954.

Fowler 15989 apparently returned to Victoria in 1976 in connection with the Walhalla & Thomson Steam Tramway Pty Ltd, the original proponents of a tourist railway along the former VGR 2' 6" gauge Moe-Walhalla railway.  By 1982 it was at Spotswood Workshops, Victoria.  By 1989 it was dismantled at the Puffing Billy Museum, Menzies Creek, where it was available for sale in 1993.  By 1996 it was thought to be at Huntingdale, possibly associated with the Walhalla Goldfields Railway.

Contributions of photos or further details of this locomotive and its current location are welcome.
