Proserpine Mill No.8 Privately owned |

This
0-6-2T locomotive was constructed by Perry Engineering, Adelaide as their
builder's number 8403.39.1 of 1939. Proserpine
Mill No.8 entered preservation in 1974 when it was privately purchased
together with Thomas Green B/N 219 of 1895. These two locomotives were
reported as based at Strathewen, Victoria, in 1975. I understand they have
since been relocated to Romsey, Victoria. Contributions
of further information or photographs for this locomotive are welcome. |
